Automount remote directores upon login?

Hi -

I am a recent "switcher" and new to not only Jaguar but Macs in general. I have 2 dual-USB iBooks and I am picking up an older iMac this weekend which I would like to use as a print and file server on my network. A couple questions:

Is there a way to have the iBooks auto-mount respective user directories on the iMac-acting-as-server, reliably every time they boot?

Once youve got the mount on the desktop, drop them into the login items section in the system config, and they should get mounted on login.
