Interesting article!

Sounds like a lot of whining from Avid and Media 100 though... But I can see how Apple can be seen as a giant monster in this market segment.

If the rumors prove true, it'll be interesting Apple's future machines with their own highend graphic card and rack mount servers.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Avid. They were very close to abandonning the Mac completely a couple of years ago. Apple is just trying to keep those professionals on the mac platform. You can't blame them.
