I am working from my home office through VPN on my iMac. Downloaded from the windows server to my desktop.
The problem is when I go to upload my folder of files (as a zip file) back to the server (it uncompresses as part of the process) to overwrite the folder of files that are on the windows server, it automatically generates another version of some of the same files in the folder I upload! The newer versions have a date and time stamp at the end of the file name. This is not good to have these 'multiples" being generated.
The only way to avoid is going to my work office and transfer to the server through my Mac at work.
Any ideas on how to avoid this? HELP!
