I thought this was a photoshop feature only, but it happened in Chimera, too!!!

Basically, when you have an open or save file dialogue, say over a full screen web browser, you can move your mouse around outside the dialogue box, and the finder windows which are hiding behind the app will glow black!! If you click one of the ghost-black finder windows, the save dialog will change to that location. It's so bad ass! Has anyone seen that????
 
lol, maybe it's a default folder feature.

If so, I give props to St. John's Wort Claire Software, that's pretty innovative shyte right there...
 
Yes, that is a Default Folder X feature. Very nifty. DFX is quickly becoming the "most useful" OS X utility.

I still wish Apple would do some work on the open/save dialog boxes. They really need some work to be as good as the Navigation Services from OS 9...
