Back button on mouse for Safari

Is there anyway to get back/forward buttons to work on a Logictech Laser Mouse (4 buttons) with Safari and Camino?

my guess would be setting up a keyboard shortcut for "back" and another for forward, in keyboard preferences. then use USB overdrive (google it) to assign these newly-created shortcuts to each button.

If you installed the Logitech software, you can do it. I don't have the Laser, but the MX700 and the back/forward buttons work.

i have the 1000 (laser) and it's not hard to set up... only thing is, unlike Kensington's software, the Logitech one can't have different settings for different apps, and Apple seem to have been somewhat inconsistent with "back" and "forward" key commands in thier apps recently..
