M marvdie Registered May 2, 2005 #1 I made an image of My Family Pack Tiger DVD & Burned it to a DVD Disk. It will load fine in my Powerbook but my G4 with a DVD Ram drive will not accept the back-up DVD. It just spits it out after a few tries. Wonder what the problem is?

gumse Member May 3, 2005 #2 I don't thing "home cooked" ever DVD's works in the DVD Ram Drive in the G4. I sure doesn't work in my DVD Ram drive.

A albloom Registered May 3, 2005 #3 You might have better luck if you burn DVDs rated at 1-2X. The older DVD drives really puke on 8X discs.
