backgrounds for 1440x900

i've got a 17" imac and i'd like to find some cool desktop backgrounds...

any good places on the web that I should look at?

those 2 have many. taking an image of 1600x1200 and cutting it could do as well in some cases.

I have a 17" iMac. I've used 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 pix as desktop background pictures. They seem to work just fine. Experiment with 'stretch to fit screen' and 'center' in System Preferences>Desktop. 'Center' is probably best.
