Backup Panther install disks

Hey,i know this has probably come up before but I didnt see it. My dad bought Panther for us and we have installed it, but He wants to be able to bring the CD's to work but wants a copy at home aswell. My basic question is, is there a way to backup the install cd's for panter, and if there is, how do u do it. Thanks!

You'll need to create a disc image of the CD from Disk Utility and then burn that image to a new CD.

Yep. It's quite certainly illegal to use your Panther installation disks on more than one Mac.

However: To _backup_ your installation disks, you just use Disk Utility in Panther. Has great help, that lil' utility, too.

I assumed he had the family pack. And according to you, fryke (I think,) making personal backups is fine
