Battery charge

I have just updated to OS 15.3 on my MBP 16" M4 and also my wife's MBP 16" M1.
Both, while plugged in, stay at 96% and the charge cord stays on orange, signifying it is charging.

Neither had done this last week on OS 15.2 easily charging to 100% and cord stays green.

Cannot see any way to change this in the Battery area of System Settings.

Anyone else have the same?

Disabling Optimized Battery Charging: Go to System Settings > Battery > Battery Health and turn it off.
Forcing a Full Charge: Click the battery icon in the menu bar and select "Charge to Full Now" if available.
Resetting SMC (for Intel models): Since your wife's M1 Mac is affected too, this may not help much.

Looks like a bug from OS 15.3. A few people have had the same charging issue. You could try resetting the SMC (System Management Controller) or check for any system updates, since Apple might fix it in the next release.
