Battery meter - which one is correct?

1) Coconut battery showed the battery is 99% charged while the macbook screen showed it's 100% charged, which one is correct?

2) I did battery calibration to maintain the new battery (fully charge - discharge - fully charge), but Coconut battery showed that the battery capacity became 97% (it used to be 99%). Anyone knows the reason?

I'll say that both are 'correct' as they are both approximations.
Your System Profiler/Power tab is another place to compare, and probably gives you the most accurate values.

2) Your particular view of calibration is not the same as Apple's recommendation...

Basically, it's charge to maximum/rest/discharge/rest/recharge completely.
I don't think this needs to be done more than once or twice a year.
