Battlefield 1942

I am considering getting a 15" Powerbook (with custom 128 meg VRAM) and was wondering if this setup would allow Battlefield 1942 to run smoothly if I get it.

I dont want to get a new computer and then have things running choppy.

Depending on the settings you use. My Powerbook 12" can run Battlefield 1942 at hard difficulty and with 180% bots with no slow downs at 1024x768. Of course, details are set to Medium for that.

Dear Persus,

Battlefield 1942 and expansion packs play fine on the 15" PowerBook with 128VRAM. It also helps if you can have as much RAM as possible.

Some levels are pretty 'choppy', but this can be adjust with the graphic setting.

Personally, I have the graphic setting on low, and it plays fine for me.

Go ahead, worth every penny...
