Betfair login problems

Hi, new here but have a really annoying problem.
I can't login to my betfair account. I can get the site, but login does nothing. I'm on Virginmedia and have heard it might be a dns issue so have opened opendns account, changed settings on router and no joy. All other sites work fine. Tried pc using IE and no luck either, but works fine at work on different isp (bt) so assume it's network problem. Not sure if it's relevant but seemed to start after I used idefrag to defrag disc, but couldn't swear as to whether problem was there before. Any help much appreciated! Julian

Have you ever been logged in to your betfair account while connected to virginmedia - on any computer? You said that a PC could not connect to betfair through your virginmedia connection? So, I would suspect that Virginmedia would be who you should talk to.

Have you tried clearing the betfair cookies on your Mac? or simply removing the cookies file?
 
Yes it was working fine up until a couple of weeks ago. Have cleared cache too. Research has told me that Virginmedia are pretty useless and just say 'wait a few days and see' and that's why I haven't tried them yet
 
Sorry for belated reply, but yes I did clear the cookies, and spoke to betfair who said it must be my network, as I could log in form work one...

I did read that it might be a web proxy problem but not sure how to check this....
