Hi everyone,
I am a new user of this forum and hopefully I can be of some help to other mac users as I have alot of mac experience and hopefully someone can help me out with this problem.
Among many other Macs I have a G4 imac that I use in the business I work in that is running OS X 10.4.6 and I am getting a black box aroundeverything I select in almost every program on the mac and sometimes it is even sticking to the desktop and I can't remove it unless I restart the computer. I have never encountered this and I have run alot of troubleshooting programs and fixes that I know of and it is still persisting to be a problem. I would prefer to not have to reload OS X if I can help it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi everyone sorry I did do a search on the forum for this problem but after I psoted this I found the answer posted previously by gaz_hood and Gilbert Taylor. And it fixed my problem. Sorry hope I can help some people out for the inconvenience.
