blocking specific e-mail addresses

is there a way that I can set my Mac mail browser to block e-mails from one particular person's address? Not spam, just a certain person that won't take a hint. Thanks for the anticipated input folks.

How about setting up a filter rule...

something like...
if sender = (address to block)
delete message

should do the trick
It won't block the message, but you'll never see it or get to read it.

Simply deleting this person's messages won't do the trick. You will have to bounce them to make your point. Mail allows you to bounce unwanted messages.

The OP said nothing about wanting to "make a point", just that they wanted to not receive email from this sender.
Also in my post I suggested "Something like", indicating the OP could do as they choose when constructing the filter rule.

Reread the OP. You will find the following pasage:

... just a certain person that won't take a hint. ...

If the annoying emailer won't take a hint, then presumeably the OP wants something more effective than a hint.
