Blueberry wont boot to install CD??

Reformat the drive so that the first partition is under 8 GB.

i just did, did it at 7GB and it is installing to the disk now. Thanks.

ok - the G5Tower would boot from the laptop hard drive after installing the OS. I put the drive back into the iBook and now it just goes to the screen with the [?]. If i hold the OPTION key to go to the boot select screen, it shows the HD with the X on it. I select it and it thinks for a couple seconds and comes back doing nothing. Exactly the same thing it did when I tried to boot from the CD. Now what should I do?? I am getting VERY tired of taking this thing apart and putting it back together.

The only thing I can think of is that either you might have damaged the Book somehow when you took it apart, or maybe the new HD is not set to Master, if that is possible. Does the old HD still boot?

i'm just going to take it in to the MAC Store at the mall and see what they think.
