In order to use your BlueTooth mouse, your computer must have a BlueTooth receiver. If it is a Powerbook it probably has one built in. If it is a PowerMac, iMac, or Mac Mini, it MAY have one built in. To find out if your Mac has BlueTooth, use a wired mouse (heh, sorry) to go to the Apple menu, and choose "System Preferences."

If you have a "BlueTooth" icon in the "Hardware" category, you're okay. Put some batteries in the mouse, switch it on, and click the BlueTooth icon. Go to the "Devices" tab to set up a new device.

If, however, your Mac does NOT have BlueTooth, you're going to need to buy your own little BlueTooth dongle thingy, like one of these...

Hope this helps.

So.... just out of curiosity, what Mac do you have? What's your situation? Tell us if you've got it working yet.

Oh, and, also of note: If you have a built in-receiver thingy, or once you get an external one, that receiver can be use for all your bluetooth devices at the same time...

Sorry. Don't mean to be so thourough. Have no idea if you're a complete newbie or what.
