Hi all,
Hope you can help. I checked Software Update a couple of days
ago and installed a couple of items of which the Bluetooth Firmware
update 1.5 was one of them.
While in the process of updating, the update did not take hold. It kept
asking me to update and didnt seem to finish. This took longer than the
requisite 15 mins it claimed I might have to wait. Now, the Bluetooth
icon in the menu bar is crossed out and Bluetooth: Not Available is there.
The system profiler also shows there is nothing there. I have tried downloading and installing the current update but the same problem occurs.
This is actually the first update issue I have ever had after almost 2 years of owning this machine (PB17 Rev C - 1.5ghz - 1G RAM) and I'm really annoyed, is this user error? Anyone else have a problem? This is my first post on this forum.
