Im not sure if there was a Rendezvous for windows, was there? I probably just missed it. But if not then this should definately improve Windows>Mac Compatibility!

Yes, there was (is, actually) Rendezvous for Windows. In fact, it is an integral part of iTunes for Windows.

To the rest of the world, it's known as ZeroConf, which I believe is an open standard.
