i have a new intel imac and i tried installing XP today. i know i screwed up boot camp on my own, but now i am stuck and have no idea what to do! i partioned a part of my disc for windows but when i went to install XP, i found out i needed a wired keyboard. I went and got one then restarted my computer while windows was installing.
now i am pretty sure that i wiped out my hard drive because every time i try to start the computer, all i get is the chime and a black white screen. i tried calling apple and they wanted $50 to try and diagnose the problem, when i know it should be a simple solution.
i have tried holding c or option at start to boot from the os x install disc, but it's not working and i am completely stuck! any information would be appreciated!! thanks so much.
