Boot Camp Problem..

Ok, so before I start to say anything, I just want to put out there that i'm pretty computer illiterate.

Alright, well a while ago my friend installed boot camp onto my computer and installed windows. It got a virus and I tried to fix it, the program I got[I don't remember which] restarted my computer and said that it was an illegal copy[which it was, i didn't install it]. So from there it wouldn't let my into windows. I tried to get into bootcamp and fix it, but it said it was expired? I then tried to erase it with disk utilities, instead, being the idiot I am, used restore and put windows stuff on my mac partitioned stuff. So, then I thought "oh, maybe if I reinstall the mac software, everything will be fine" well I did, and ofcourse it didn't fix anything besides reinstall mac[like i said, im not very computer literate].

What I want to do is make my mac how it was when I bought it. I don't want the windows partition on here and I don't know how to fix it. I want windows completly gone. I installed Boot Camp Assisant, but it gives me the install package and instructions, i dont think anything else, I installed it and can't find it, or dont know how to use it...

Is there any way to fix this problem and make this back to how it was when I bought it?? please help, and thank you.

If you truly want to reset your computer to the state it was in when you bought it, you can do that.

1.) Start from the installation/restore disk.
2.) Before actually installing, use Disk Utility (from the menus when booted into the installation/restore disk) to partition your drive as _one_ volume (formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)). In order to do this, select the device (containing both your Windows and Mac volume on the harddrive). Name the volume "Macintosh HD".
3.) Quit Disk Utility.
4.) Go ahead and install Mac OS X on "Macintosh HD".

Ok, so just to make sure I got it, this is all being done in the installation menu? meaning, after clicking "install Mac OS X and Budled Software"?

and also, where is the disk utility located once i'm in installation menu? i just wanna make sure i get this completly right so I dont have to keep going through that looong installation process and not get it right..

Yes, from that install disc.
Disk Utility is located either under Utilities menu or Installer menu (more likely Utilities).
