Boot Sequence bug, 10.4.2

after doing three restarts today (i spilt a whole mug of tea on my keyboard), i noticed a bug in the boot sequence of 10.4.2.

when the finder is starting, the menubar should slide down, then the dock should appear, sliding up. after then the menu bar applets start, and then finally, the icons appear. neat and tidy, everything appears tidy.

not so on mine:

it's only minor, but the Menu bar applets start before the mene bar has dropped down, making for a very unsightly appearance, and one definately not befitting apple. does anyone else know of this? is it being addressed in 10.4.3?

That used to happen to me a while ago, then it suddenly fixed itself one day and hasn't done it since.

Try logging into another user and see what happens.

My Mac since 10.3, and then up to 10.4.3 - has always shown the dock first, then a blank menu bar which rapidly completes, then icons/windows on the desktop. I don't really notice these minor changes of the Finder, etc loading. Not really part of the OS X boot sequence. - plus my system is usually sleeping, so booting is a non-player, as long as it reboots when I need to do that.... :)
