Booting from iPod

I have installed 10.2 on my iPod and was wondering if it's possible to boot from it. I have been unable to this sofar but maybe I'm doing something wrong.
If it's not possible can I install it on my HD where I have 10.1.4 without having to erase it and make a new partition?

Yep, I'm running 10.1 on mine every weekday at school...just make sure the "hold"-lock isn't on, cause then it won't show...
Start by holding Option, or just make it your default boot-drive and you should be pleasently surprised

Do I need to install OS 9 Disk Drivers on it?

Also...can you partition a HD without erasing the contents on it?

You may NOT install different disk drivers on your iPod and unter no circumstances initialize the disk - this will render your iPod unusable and you have to send it to apple for repair!

Can I install 10.2 on the same partition as my OS 9 and 10.1.4, and run 10.2 from there?

I don't have 10.2, but I'd guess it still had a Library-folder and a System-folder. These would be changed to fit 10.2's needs, so no, you can not instally 2 different OS Xes on the same partition
