I heard that there are ways to boot off of a Firewire CDROM if you don't have an internal one. Is this true? If so, does it matter what kind of firewire drive it is? I held 'T' on my Powerbook and there is this symbol (I believe the Firewire symbol) on the screen as well as the battery life. This is when no firewire device is connected. I just want to know before I go out and purchase a drive. I'm currently look at the YAMAHA 20x/10x/40x CD-RW Drive firewire drive, its only $100. Any ideas? Thanks for any help, I appreciate it!
