Border at the left and bottom of Terminal window?

By default, the Terminal app in OS X on my MacBook Pro has the title bar on top and a scrollbar on the right, and just a shadow effect at the left and the bottom. In addition to these, I'd like to see a narrow border on the left and at the bottom. Is it possible to configure Terminal to show such a border?

As an alternative, is it possible to cause the window shadowing effects to be done in light colors instead of dark?
