I have PowerBook Titanium G4/800, if I use this computer for works, the bottom base is too hot!. I am afraid suddenly my cpu will damage!
Is this normal? or I must do somethings?
thanks
I to have a PowerBook G4 and the situation that you describe is completely normal.
The base of the computer does get too hot to the touch from time to time. Do not worry. I have had my PoweBook since March 2001 (one of the first in the UK to get one ) and it hasn't done it any harm.
What I try to do is find something that I can place underneath the PowerBook that conducts heat very well. The heat from the PowerBook will transfer to this material, so therefore reducing the heat from the PowerBook.
