Bouncing Email?

One of the coolest features of the Mail program is the ability to bounce SPAM email messages.

Is there some way to do this in Entourage X?

Are there any command line ways of doing this?

Are there any Web sites that can simulate this?

How else can I do this without using Mail?

Where can I get more info on the format of a bounced email?
(Maybe I can write a PHP/ASP/ColdFusion script to do this...)

One way would be with procmail (installed by default with OS X, man pages with BSD package however) and a set of procmail scripts called spambouncer .

I get almost no spam anymore just by using rules. Just make a rule called junk or whatever and add criteria. I use "if from contains" a lot, since most junk comes from a few domains. Just delete all the address except for the domain name.

Some of the crap that comes from hotmail accounts and such don't work with that, but you can get them if they use the same subject over and over, or if the message body starts the same way each time.

If you just keep adding options to your rule and have it take effect if ANY criteria are met over a week or so you should be getting very little junk mail.

I also have my mailbox emptied out as a timed event.
