Broken Folder

I have a STOCK B/W G3 with 192 MB ram and Apple's DVD-Rom drive. And I get that irritating broken folder when I try to start up from the CD. My CD is the original from Apple. Any thoughts?
 
Well, after much investigation, I discovered that I had a second hard drive in the computer that I installed some time ago and forgot about. In order to have Mac OS X boot up and still have the option of Mac OS 9 boot up if you have to ATA hard drives. Both drives MUST be set as Master and the CD/DVD drive set as slave. My system works great now!
