When I try to print from my mac it says Error while printing. And my mac doesn't see it as a fax.

Download the latest driver from here
Then, open Printer Setup Utility (Applications/Utilities folder), delete the current printer from the list, and click "Add" and set it up again. Brothers tend to work best via Appletalk, or via IP Printing if it's on the network.
To make sure you're using Appletalk... When you click "Add", the new window that pops up will have a button at the bottom that says "More Printers". Press that, and then make sure "Appletalk" is selected in the window that comes up and select the printer from there.
Sounds a little more complicated than it is. Don't fear.
