Browser Crashes

I'm new to Macs. I recently got myself a brand new 12" G4 iBook. Overall I'm happy with it.

However, my browsers keep crashing on certain sites. Safari was crashing so I installed Firefox. Firefox was crashing so I installed Opera. Opera crashed too.

It seems to typically happen on Ad heavy sites so I'm assuming it MIGHT be flash player related, but I'm not certain.

Help please, I don't want to regret this purchase.
 
If you have Microsoft Media Player for OSX, install flip4mac which allows Windows Media to play the files through quicktime; Media Player will cause the spinning beach ball/or just unexpectedly quit when the plugin is called for; I used to have to go to Safari preferences and disable plugins (security tab) on certain pages and sites however with flip4mac I have not had a problem.
