BSD install

machead since 91
i originally didnt install the bsd subsystem to mac osX and want to install it now. Is it safe to go back and install it with my 10.1 update disk or even from 10.0 first and then from 10.1 update cd?

I can not access any of the "services" in the apple menu. Is this due to the bsd not being installed?

Thanks

It isnt such complicated...
If u look into the application folder u'll find the utilities folder ...
there u can use the install-program.
Now u have to find the bsd.pkg (bsd-package) on any of the OS X CD's, newest as possible...
L8r on u can update it via software upgrade ...

Good Luck

Sascha

it's not because of the BSD subsystem not installed that you can't use the services. Only coco apps use the services and I've only seen a select few that actualy have.
