Actually you can mod ugly PC cases to look pretty darn cool with blacklights, clear side panels, etc... With the money you save in building your own you can use it to make it look pretty the way you want it.

It's a apple mainboard. Just sold without the box around it

Yeah, that's why I figure it's more of a home refurb than a clone.

Well, okay, this might not appeal to the typical graphics pro, but it MIGHT appeal to those who tend to build their own PCs and want to build a Mac for once. It serves its purpose, doesn't it? But you might as well buy an older Mac off of eBay and put in a new processor card, I guess. You'll find a decent G4/733 off of eBay and wait for new upgrades to appear. But then again, those Dual 867 machines aren't that pricey either.
