C C19H28O2 Registered Jun 18, 2006 #1 Hi, I've just turned FTP access on in my mac (osx 10.4) but when I try and connect via a windows machine i get the logon dialog but it won't accept my username/password of the account i normally logon to my mac with any ideas?

riccbhard Tech Jun 18, 2006 #2 If I am not mistaken you must use your user's shortname. You can find it at System Prefrences > Accounts > Your account > Short name
