Trying to decide if I should take the plunge and just get the Xs that is out now or put up with my archaic iPhone 6 until the new iPhone is released in the fall?

Wait. If you don't like or need the features on the new model, the X price will go down to a bit more affordability.

My last phone is iPhone 6,it is worked for me for 6 years.
Last month, I bought an XR. To be honest, I like Apple very much, but I don't want to spend too much money on it. Maybe that's why I bought a XR.
Now i wondering if there is an idea to help me to delete anything from iPhone 6 (I don't mean to factory reset),i am going to sell it.

A factory reset will delete all your personal information along with any apps you installed. Once done, it prompts you to set up the phone like it is brand new. What makes you leery of it?

i got some skills to clean iPhone data, like the CCleaner and Safewiper

Since you are sure that reset does not erase your data, what makes you think that those apps will erase your data? Have your checked your phone for leftover data after a reset. and then after using those apps? Are you using both apps?

I just don't think the reset can erase data completely,at least I tried it on my phone.
If you don't want the deleted data to be recovered again, or if you want to delete the data completely, I think the above two software can do that.
