I have a JVC GRD70AA camcorder with a DV (firewire) connector. After hooking it up to my IMac G4, I can operate the video camera from iMovie, but I cannot see the video in the iMovie screen. I have tried everything from unplugging it to resetting the date on the camcorder, but nothing works. Not even an icon appears on the desktop.
One would think the iMovie would not communicate with the camcorder at all if it wasn't compatable. I must be doing something wrong. Any advice?
