Camera not reading Memory Stick.

 oooookay. So I was using my Sony Digital Camera today. I was pretty much just fooling around, just recording some short movies. So when I was done I took the card out and placed it in my Memory Card Reader. After getting the movies I wanted off the card I went ahead and deleted them. So that the card be empty and ready to go again when I put it in the camera again. So after doing all that I put that card back in a turn the Camera on to only be alerted there isn't enough space on the card to take any pictures or anything. Wondering if maybe the files weren't deleted after all, I go over to Memory setting of my camera (The setting that lets me see all the files and things I have on the card) and it tells me the card is empty. So now I'm trying to figure out what the crap I did to my card and what i could do maybe to fix this. If anybody got some suggestions I be grateful.

Here's what I've found:

if you erase the pics from the media card, while it's connected to your computer, you need to empty the trash can while the memory card is still connected for the deletion to take effect. otherwise it's a symbolic deletion of the data, not an explicit one.

that works for me at least. I'd assume it's universal. Seems like it should work better than that, but whatever.

Wow, I can't believe that worked quiksan..Hah, thank you! Thanks DeltaMac also for taking some time to help do some troubleshooting.
