Firebird (formerly Phoenix) is the PC equivalent of Camino, and in some ways, does things better (tabs, prefs, extensions, themes, etc.).

All the quality and maturity of Mozilla with none of the bloat...

Funny that it still shows as Phoenix in the menu bar and application name. I like it though. I think its good that we are getting heaps more choices for web browsers but that also causes probs too ?_because now I don't know which one to use as my default.... well actually I do and its Safari (for the time being), it must be that Apple thing.

BTW, did you know that Safari is a Phoenix wannabe. i think its something to do with the guy (or gal) who worked at Mozilla went to Apple and worked on Safari. Correct me if I'm wrong ?_as my father says "its not often I'm wrong but I'm right again'...

I have a dial-up connection that is slower than snails and rollie polies.
Therefore, it matters to me how quick images and text show up.

Chimera had the advantage of hacks to make it go faster. Which are probably obsolete now.
However, it was the only web browser with tabs that worked well on Mac OS X.

Then Safari came out. I jumped ship and downloaded it. I use it more because it has more visuals than other browsers out there.
I don't know what OmniWeb looks like though.
