for those of you that care, lately nightly build of camino works in panther from what ive used :D
 
I thought the other version did too? I saw a screen shot of it anyway that showed the new tab buttons for it and it was cool. are the tabs still the new button things?

Jason: Camino's programmers were probably at the WWDC, erego they were able to pick up the beta for Panther, erego they could work out all the kinks with it, erego you probably know this already.

It's way too late...
 
Yes, unfortunately Camino uses proper Mac OS X 10.3 Cocoa Tab elements. The draw-back to this, IMO, is that there is no close widget for Cocoa Tabs- as they are intended to just switch between related pages.

i just use the shortcut cmd + w to close tabs, so it doesnt bother me, but... i like the way they look, just not the way they function :)
 
Those new tabs look AWESOME ! I'll consider switching back to Camino when Panther will get finalized. Depending on how addicted to Safari I grew those last months ;)
