Can anyone tell me what app I need to combine avi files

I have several short... umm... educational clips I would like to combine :-D can anyone tell me what app I need to edit these together, thanks

"combine" as in "edit"?

In that case you only need to convert the files with QT Pro to DV format, and then import them in iMovie to edit.
Simple.

On PC is easier, just type copy a.avi+b.avi c.avi in the shell and you'll get combined file. If only cp command could do the same...

I got it! you can use more "1-st file" >> "result-file" and then "2-nd file" >> "result-file" and you'll get the same! Remember, result file should be empty at the beggining.
