can i close the lid??

Hi, i have a 1ghz g4 ibook and, i wanted to work in a lid close mode, so i downloaded sleepless but every time i activate it, it shows me a warning message saying that i could have some heating problems.... how bad can it be?? this can really damage my computer???

Yes, it can damage the iBook. The iBooks are not meant to be run with the lid closed.
