It is not possible to run a .exe file in mac os.

While you can't run Windows executables in Mac OS X, you can run something like Virtual PC (which emulates PC hardware through software on the Mac) and then run Windows inside of that. It would be slow, however, but that's pretty much the only way to run Windows applications on a PowerPC-based Macintosh like the iBook.

With the Intel-based Macintoshes, the story is very different.
