Hi there, I bought a Western Digital external hard drive to store music and pictures because my MacBook was completely full.
Now that I have transferred the content of my computer on to the external hd and started downloading a whole bunch of new music, I find it very unpractical to use the hd as I have to re-upload into my itunes songs that I want to hear that are on my external hd.
Is there a way to sync the external hd with my mac, so that when it is plugged in, I can access my whole library and don't have to drag the icons back and forth from my computer to the external hd?
If yes, and if I need to reformat the external hd, how do I do that without loosing all the files that I have on the external hd? I cannot reload them into my MacBook as I wouldn't have enough room left on the computer hd.
