I have a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.5.8. I have Time Warner cable internet with a Belkin router.

I can not access some sites such as cars.com or ehow.com. I have tried to use multiple browsers using both wireless and ethernet. I have changed the DNS servers to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. All to no avail. I can access those sites using Windows via Bootcamp as well as on another laptop connected to the same network.

When trying to connect to certain websites I get the page stating that it can't connect to the server.

I too have time warner and believe solution to your problem is to not use time warner's roadrunner to do your search. using google with safari I just accessed both web sites you couldn't reach. hope this is of some help.

Do y'all not have Java/Java Scripts/or Cookies enabled? Or perhaps it might be a plug in (flashplayer) problem? Are your browsers fully patched (up to date)?
