can not install .dmg files

For about 2 weeks I can't install .dmg files anymore. I don't know what to do. Can anybody give me an idea to solve tis problem?

What happens when you double click a .dmg?

nothing. just a little flash on the icon, but no installation starts

Do a Command-I on the dmg. Set it to Open With DiskImagerMounter, then try.

it still doesn't start the installation

in disk utility, repair the permissions on your boot volume. also find in your home folder, Library > Preferences > com.apple.frameworks.diskimages.uiagent.plist and trash it. empty the bin, do a log-out and log-in, and try again.
