Cannon BJC85 Printer

Hi Since upgrading my powerbook to Tiger I cannot seem to use my Cannon BJC85 printer. I really want to use this printer cos it is so portable. The only way I can use it is if I set it to -Gimp-print v 5.0.0 - beta2, but this prints very lightly. Has anyone any idea how this can be retified.

Yes I have the one I downloaded is bjc85_OSX_v171 I cant seem to locate an updated version on this, the page you sent has the same version, but still only works on the Gimp print
Any more ideas? all appriciated

O.K. Launch the Print Setup Utility and then in the Printer Setup Utility menu item select "Reset Printing System" then try to re-add the printer. Good Luck.
 
yeah I had tried that before, have reloaded the software and re did the set up as per your instructions, still the same problem. Maybe I need to contact Canon directly Thanks very much for all your help.
