I have purchased a Nexstar 3 NST 260SU portable hard drive for my Mac iBook G4 (OSX 10.3).
When I connect it to the laptop via the USB ports (2) the Nexstar icon appears on the desk top but it will not open.
I am a novice user and wonder if there is something else I need to do. (format??)
If so, could you pse detail Exactly what I should do. Thanks
