Canon A75 not compatible with OSX.4

Canon claims that its powershot A75 is not compatible with Tiger.

Does anyone have a Powershot A series and a Mac with tiger installed and could use it?

I have an A75 & yes, it works fine with 10.4.2 and 10.4.3.

Many times, it's simply the sofware that comes with the cameras that are referred to as not being compatible.

try using Image Capture(located in Applications) to pull images off the camera
it's what i do for my EOS D30 and Digital Rebel when I can't get to a card reader

Thanks everybody, I posted the message so long ago I forgot even to state that it is working fine (not the software that came with the camera, though) but iPhoto gets the pictures just fine.
