Can't boot from Disk Warrior CD

I have an iBook G4 running Panther. If I start my machine with the Disk Warrior CD in it and with the "C" button held down, I get a message that just says I have to restart my machine. If I do, I get the same message. What could I be doing wrong?

It is likely that the OS on your Disk Warrior is older than the version which shipped with your computer. However, Alsoft allows you to burn a replacement CD with a cut-down version of your current OS. Check Alsoft's website for the requisite download.

If you are already having a problem with your iBook, and trying DiskWarrior as a possible fix, maybe the hard drive is blocking the boot from that CD! I have seen this happen a few times with a really failed hard drive.
