cant boot from systemworks 2 cd

Using norton systemworks cd, and os 10.2.2, I cant boot from the cd.

why?

I tried everything I could think of. any ideas?

External CD drive ?

If you're using a new dual G4 you have to get the HD off the ATA 100 bus and move it to the ATA 66 bus if you want to boot off any CD except for the Jaguar installers. But judging by your sig you don't have a new G4 so I don't know.

yep its legal, (I think? I bought the CD at a yard sale). and im trying the internal cd drive..... should I try the external one?
