can't boot to CD? BIOS Access

Hi,

I'm a long time Win/Lin user, so bear with me.

I'm trying to boot to MacOSX(Jaguar) cd.

I reboot and hold 'C-key' for a long time but, nothing happens. I even tried 'apple-c' what's the deal? Can I get into the BIOS?

Can anyone share any boot keys like

'apple-S' - single-user

shift - safe boot

hold the option key down to display the boot manager

you can get into the "Bios" by holding
APPLE + OPTION + O + F
