Hey there--
Lately, ALL attempts (about ten) to burn a CD result in my G4 declaring a "disk error"--and I believe the CD's I use are fine, and the data to be sound--unerringly reliable HP's [that always work with my DELL].
Recently, I ripped dozens of my music CD's for my iPod--did this somehow mess up my CD drive-? Is there a way to clean it-? Is this necessary or possible-? (I noticed a lot of skips in the iPod's tunes, too).
Lastly, is there any sort of Mac utility that can diagnose a CD drive problem-?
Thanks,
buzzy
